Catskills Wood Fire Workshop
Come join Judah Birkeland and Marisa Recchia at Recchia Studios in the heart of the Catskill Mountains on Saturday October 18th for a full day of loading, firing, and reduction cooling the latest version of the Compact Wood Kiln. We unload the following Monday.

Wood Kiln Sampler Platter Workshop
Lisa Orr and Judah Birkeland are teaming up for a fast-fire wood kiln extravaganza. Join us at Linwood Pottery on May 12-14 to fire four kilns in two days! One of the kilns we fire will be a streamlined version of Lisa’s Rocket Kiln, which we will construct on day one. Additionally, we will fire Birkeland’s Compact Wood Kiln, and the Compact Mini w/ Soda. The final kiln will be an experimental electric fired kiln modified with a gas pilot burner to create a reduction atmosphere.
